Maynard Public Schools is excited to welcome our Maynard Tigers with two transition programs designed to welcome students to the 2021-2022 school year! Students Entering Grades 1-6 are invited to attend a 1 week transition & leadership program. Students entering grades 7-12 are invited to attend a 2 week enrichment program. These programs are voluntary and FREE to Maynard Public School Students! See more information about each program below.

Grades 1-6 Transition & Leadership Academy

Students entering grades one through six are invited to attend a one week Transition & Leadership Academy. Students will be grouped by grade level and their sessions will be held at Green Meadow & Fowler Schools. Students will engage in activities that focus on team building, social emotional learning, and executive functioning to help get them excited for the start of the school year.
Grades 7-12 Enrichment Camp
8/09/2021-8/19/2021 Monday- Thursday 8:00-12:00
Students entering Grades 7 through 12 are invited to attend a summer Enrichment camp at Maynard High School. This two week program will allow students to engage in enriching experiences related to the arts, history, science and more! On the first day, students will select their enrichment sessions, and can choose from things like:
- Blast Off - Rocket Building
- Physics of Sports
- Operation Cho-Cho- Building a Butterfly Garden
- English Learner Support
Other sessions include programs in Drama, the History of Maynard, Yoga, and many more.
Students entering grades 9-12 can earn up to 1 credit for their successful completion of this program!
