Dear parents and guardians,
Welcome to the 2021-2022 school year!
The main goal of the Student Services staff is to make sure our children receive their IEP, 504 and EL services in a safe and supportive environment. Service delivery necessarily looked different last year due to the pandemic and remote learning. This year all students will be back in person, however, and the Student Services staff and I very much look forward to welcoming them back! For IEP meetings we will still extend, and encourage, remote participation for all families.
Baseball All-Star Hank Aaron (1934-2021), stated that " ....a man’s ability is limited only by his lack of opportunity." I am fortunate to be working with a very dedicated team of students, parents, teachers, administrators, related service providers and professional staff committed to improving opportunities and outcomes for all students. I invite all of you to join this dedicated team in any way that works best for you including participation in the Maynard Public Schools SEPAC (Special Education Parent Advisory Council) activities.
In Maynard all students must and will be considered general education students first with full access to all services, events, activities and opportunities.
