I am thrilled to share some exciting news with you all—Maynard High School has been officially recognized as a "School of Recognition" by the Department of Secondary and Elementary Education. This prestigious honor reflects our entire school community's hard work, dedication, and collaboration.
As part of its annual accountability reporting process, the Department identifies a small number of Schools of Recognition. These schools demonstrate progress toward annual accountability targets, with an emphasis on the performance of all students in the school and the school's lowest performing students group (where applicable). The list of recognized schools also includes those that have been identified as National Blue Ribbon Schools, a national award program.
While we take pride in this recognition, we remain committed to furthering our mission to provide a well-rounded, high-quality education for every student. Our focus now is on maintaining this momentum and continuing to strive for even more outstanding achievements in the future.
Thank you to everyone who has contributed to making this accomplishment possible. Let's continue to work together to uphold the values that make Maynard High School and Maynard Public Schools a special place for learning and growth.
