Social Thinking Workshop for Parents

Coming up soon!

The Maynard SEPAC is excited to host our November workshop for parents (Tues. Nov. 5) on Social Thinking, led by Nancy Clements, the Executive Director of Social Thinking Boston.

Nancy will introduce parents to the approach that the Social Thinking methodology takes to help students develop essential skills in social-emotional learning, perspective-taking, and social problem solving, as well as self-regulation and executive functioning. This workshop is a wonderful opportunity to learn more about why these skills are so essential for children’s well-being and success. The workshop will also offer practical suggestions to parents about how they can support those skills at home.

Come join us on Tuesday, Nov. 5 at 7 p.m. at the Fowler School Library.

Please contact Karen Heath at sepacoutreach@maynard.k12.ma.us or at 978-394-6183 to RSVP. Free and open to the public.
